Desert Hills Heelers K9 Rescue is a non-profit corporation and an IRS approved 501(c)(3) charity. All donations are tax-deductible.
The mission of Desert Hills Heelers K9 Rescue is to provide a second chance for homeless and abandoned Australian Cattle Dogs/Heelers. We believe that well-trained dogs solidify the human-animal bond. Through our breed-specific educational resources and dog-training assistance, more Australian Cattle Dogs/Heelers will find loving homes and provide their new families with the unconditional love and companionship for which this breed is known. Desert Hills Heeler Rescue also supports an aggressive, affordable spay/neuter program that will prevent unwanted litters and reduce the number of dogs euthanized annually.
