Foster

Desert Hills Heelers does not have a kennel and must rely on generous people who will open their home to fostering a rescue dog. We will work with you and find the most suitable dog for you and your family. We will require a minimum commitment of three weeks. Some of our dogs will require basic training, basic house commands, socialization and some will require potty training.
We will provide you with a crate, some toys, and food. You may need to transport your foster dog to the vet for an appointment. We have a list of approved veterinarians. You will need to contact us to set up the appointment for medical treatment and arrange payment with the veterinarian...

If you have any problems with your foster dog, please contact us immediately so we can correct them before the situation gets out of control. Someone from our rescue will contact you to see how things are going on a regular basis and make suggestions if needed. We are here 24/7 to support your efforts and needs.
